Position Overview 
Do you live for social media and all things marketing? Are you a creative person with Instagram-worthy organization skills? We are rolling out a new, refreshed brand at Equal Justice Works - be a part of the excitement! The Digital Communications Intern will assist with brand rollout activities and help support the overall efforts of the Marketing and Communications unit. This is a Fall semester position with a flexible schedule of around 16 to 20 hours per week. 

Specific Responsibilitie

  • Update marketing and communications collateral to reflect new brand identity
  • Draft and proofread social media content and website copy
  • Help monitor news outlets and discussions on social media channels
  • Produce, review, and edit media assets (images, video, audio, etc.)
  • Organize promotional materials and assist with brand refresh rollout
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • A current college or graduate student
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as Hootsuite and social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • Working knowledge of the WordPress platform
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Proven ability to work with minimum supervision

Education and Experience Required:

Relevant graduate or undergraduate education experience


$13.25/hr up to 20 hours a week
